Carrie Renewed for Season 2; Ali G Returns to Screen

Amazon Prime Video has officially renewed its adaptation of Stephen King's horror classic, "Carrie," for a second season. The series, which expands beyond the original novel's narrative, will continue to explore the life of the misfit high-schooler Carrie White. This renewal comes after a successful first season that garnered strong reviews and maintains a consistent streak for the streamer's horror offerings.

In other entertainment news, Sacha Baron Cohen has reprised his iconic character Ali G in the new film "Ali G: Who Iz I?" The movie, which has received mixed reviews, centers on the character's return as a political subject. While some critics have noted scattered humorous moments and Cohen's signature outrageous style, others have found the film to be cumbersome and less relevant than anticipated, with some questioning the decision to make Ali G the film's primary focus.
