Man Critically Injured in Woolwich Shooting Near Royal Artillery Barracks

A man is in a life-threatening condition following a shooting incident in Woolwich, south-east London. The shooting occurred on Frances Street, approximately 600 metres from the Royal Artillery Barracks. Metropolitan Police are actively searching for a suspect in connection with the incident.

In a separate event, a 27-year-old woman, Aisha Zaman, has been charged with firearms offences in Nottingham after a police officer was shot in the city centre. The charges include possession of a prohibited firearm and intent to commit an indictable offence.
