The Virginia Film Festival will honor veteran actress Jessica Lange with its Visionary Award. The festival will also feature screenings of two of Lange's notable films: a new adaptation of the play 'Long Day's Journey Into Night' and the 1994 drama 'Blue Sky,' for which she received her second Academy Award.
In addition to the award ceremony and film screenings, the festival will host a live taping of The Hollywood Reporter's "Awards Chatter" podcast. This segment will likely delve into Lange's extensive career and her contributions to cinema, providing attendees with an intimate look at her journey in the film industry.
