BFI & Chanel Announce 2026 Filmmaker Award Winners

The British Film Institute (BFI), in collaboration with Chanel, has revealed the recipients of its fifth annual Filmmaker Awards. This year's honorees include Rich Felgate for "We, The Hated," Olive Nwosu for "Lady," Imran Perretta for "Ish," and Rachel Taparjan for "Something Familiar."

Each filmmaker will receive a £20,000 prize to support their future projects. The awards ceremony, celebrating emerging talent in filmmaking, took place yesterday, recognizing the diverse voices and innovative storytelling within the industry.
