Ed Sheeran has broken his silence regarding Macklemore's removal from his U.S. "Loop" tour, stating that the decision was ultimately made by the venue and promoter. Macklemore was dropped from the tour following his on-stage "Free Palestine" remarks during Sheeran's New Jersey shows. Sheeran indicated he attempted to mediate the situation but was unsuccessful in finding a resolution.
