Pakistan achieved a remarkable one-wicket triumph against England in the ODI tri-series, propelled by Shadab Khan's exceptional unbeaten century and a record-breaking last-wicket partnership. With Pakistan precariously placed at 154 for nine and chasing 241, victory seemed improbable. However, Shadab, alongside Haris Rauf, masterfully guided their team to a stunning win, securing their place in the series final.
Earlier, England had been bowled out for 241, with Ben Duckett's century being the sole significant contribution. Pakistan's bowlers managed to take wickets consistently, setting up a chase that, despite appearing manageable, turned into a nail-biting contest. The dramatic finish saw England players briefly celebrating what they thought was a win when Shadab was given out, only for a twist of fate to see the decision overturned and Pakistan snatch victory.
