U.S. Team Stages Historic Presidents Cup Comeback at Medinah; Melbourne to Host 2028 Event

The United States team secured their eleventh consecutive Presidents Cup victory at Medinah Country Club, achieving the largest comeback in the event's history. Trailing the International team by a significant margin entering the final day's singles matches, the U.S. squad mounted a remarkable rally to clinch the trophy.

Jacob Bridgeman delivered the decisive point for the Americans, defeating Min Woo Lee 1-up to finalize a 17-13 win. Captain Brandt Snedeker attributed the team's resurgence to the "energy" brought by former President Donald Trump, who addressed the team prior to the final day's play. Looking ahead, it has been announced that Melbourne, Australia, will host the Presidents Cup in 2028.
