Davey Targets Reform UK and Elon Musk at Liberal Democrat Conference

Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey has launched a strong attack on Reform UK and tech mogul Elon Musk during the opening day of his party's annual conference. Davey declared that the Liberal Democrats "won't give up the fight" against what he described as "nasty populism" and Reform UK's "£72m arsenal of hate and lies."

Speaking at the Brighton Centre, Davey urged delegates not to be discouraged by the tactics of Reform UK, which he suggested hopes to wear down opposition through "anger and the hatred and the lies." He praised other speakers for articulating the party's core values and commitment to continued advocacy.
