A new live-action movie adaptation of the popular "Street Fighter" video game franchise is set to bring a roster of combat sports stars and celebrities to the big screen. The film, produced by Paramount and Legendary, is reportedly set in the 1990s and centers around a global fighting tournament.
This upcoming "Street Fighter" movie aims to capture the essence of the long-running arcade and video game series, which originated in the 1980s. The casting of WWE stars and UFC champions suggests a focus on authentic martial arts action, aligning with the game's core gameplay mechanics.
