Alex Scott Exits Disney+ Champions League Role Amidst Coverage Scrutiny

Former England international Alex Scott has announced her departure from her presenting role for Disney+'s Women's Champions League coverage. This decision comes shortly after criticism was leveled at the broadcaster's handling of the competition during its opening round.

Reports indicate that Scott's exit is a personal choice, allowing her to dedicate more time to other burgeoning projects. Among these is her new show, "One More Word WSL," which she will host alongside former Lionesses Anita Asante and Fara Williams. The move signifies a notable shift in women's football broadcasting as Scott pivots to new endeavors within the sport.
